overview
Texas 432 Sand Program consists of two weekly training sessions, and optional local, regional, or state tournaments. Cost covers facility use, coaching pay, and player package (sublimated tank, t-shirt, gear bag).
Sessions will be customized to the age and skill level of the players (see below). Beginners and Intermediate players will focus on fundamentals and establishing good form and habits. Advanced players will be coached on more strategy and sand specific skills in addition to fundamental training.
Those who want to travel within the region, or even attend larger events will have the opportunity to do that as well. Any tournaments and travel will be split between the two players who make up a team. (Sand is played in pairs). Most local and regional tournament fees are 20-50 per player (qualifiers are slightly more). You can select your own partner or we will help pair players according to skill level if you don’t have a partner in mind. Competition is optional, but we do recommend players participate in at least one of the local tournaments to really make the most of the experience. Sand volleyball is an amazing way to cross train your skills.
