The TX 432 Academy is a 10 week training program dedicated to skill development for players from 1st through 5th grade. Our academy will be divided into two age group sessions (1st-3rd) & (4th-5th). There is NOT a tryout process and there is NO traveling. Players will receive one skills practice per week on SUNDAY evening JANUARY 14th - MARCH 31st (no sessions on March 10 or 17 due to Spring Break). Each practice session will focus on at least one skill and some game play/strategy appropriate for each group level.
Training Schedule
1st-3rd graders practices will occur on Sundays from 3:45-5:00 and 5:15-6:30 pm at Abell. On the last Sunday of each month, the younger group will host of PARENT/PLAYER night where our coaching staff will teach parents how to reinforce skills at home with the athlete.
4th-5th graders practice will occur on Sundays from 6:45-8:15 pm at Abell. On the last Sunday of each month, the older group will focus on game strategy/team play. This will include some scrimmaging with 6 on 6 play.
Program Cost: $300 (includes USAV membership, ball, and t-shirt). Payments can be made in full or broken down into 1 registration fee of $75 due at sign up and three additional payments of $75 (January 15, February 15, March 15).
Program Includes: Ten training sessions, 1 Practice Shirt, 1 Volleyball (player will bring to every practice).
